I just did the Saona Island VIP trip and have got outright positive things to say of the scheduling or the tour itself. Straight from the begin, reserving from overseas, Ingrid has been fast to email and check the bookings. My family was staying very close to Bayahibe so it was easy to get to the SeavisTours location and it was right where the guidelines said it would be.
Our trip started right on time (we were one of the first boats leaving of a VERY busy tour spot) and it was nice to beat the other boats out to the Piscina Natural. We had some heavy rains come up so we had to tweak the trip a bit, we went straight out to the Piscina. It was nice to have the flexibility. Our trip was about half English speaking guests and the rest German speaking but Cisco, the guide, has been wonderful. His humorous rapport, fun attitude, and general knowledge of the area, culture, and history made the tour an exceptional one. Kudos also need to go to the captain of the boat for safely getting us through some pretty rough seas on the way to our final beach destination of the day. It made for some excitement!
The spots on the VIP tour were excellent and while Saona Island sees thousands of visitors each day, it never seemed crowded or overwhelming. Lunch has been amazing (with special nod to the grilled "wild" Saona Island boar). The final beach was excellent... an idyllic paradise.. It has been an excellent tour and one I'd strongly recommend to anyone wanting to see Saona Island - which is a must see if you're in the area.
